Locate a New Book or Learn About Literature 
Log in to this service using your library card number, choose Novelist, and then have fun... you can search for series, authors, or books with similar plots to ones you like! Like an author? You can see read-a-likes too!

GNOOKS: Type in a favorite author and get a "cloud" of similar authors. The ones closest to the author in the center are close hits but the others may be similar and broaden your reading!

Fantastic Fiction: Search by author or title and see a full list of titles for the author, similar reads, or books in series. Also has a coming soon feature to preview upcoming releases.

Indie Bound: A great site that lists upcoming titles which independent booksellers have deemed worthy of praise.

Granite State Readers Recommend: A site where you can leave a book recommendation for others to view, or, read all the other reviews from NH communities!

Today in Literature: Learn some great stories about literature!

National Poetry Association: Search for poems or poets, find links to more poetry web sites and learn about upcoming poetry events.

Order Of Books: The most comprehensive website on the internet for listing books in order. 1490 authors listed on the site and 2033 characters/series with more added each day.

Social Sites For Readers
Create lists of books you've read, books you want to read, and share your reviews with others. A great source for reviews from other readers as well as lists of books on certain topics or genres. (Free)

Library Thing: Similar to Goodreads. Add up to 200 books for free, small fee after that. We've heard this system is great for people who home libraries who wish to catalog and track those books and share them with friends.

ANOBII: An online reading community built by readers for readers allowing you to shelve, find and share books. Our mission is to bring book lovers together and encourage reading. Many of these site also work in tandem with Facebook and Twitter to share your reading on those sites too.
